Admissions Process and Policy

At Faith Home, our mission is to help men and women break free from alcoholism and drug addiction through our 8-week, in-house, Christ-centered, 12-Step recovery program. Below are the requirements and guidelines for admission. Please review these steps very carefully as you’ll need to adhere strictly to the rules outlined in order to be admitted into the program.

1. Program Commitment

Eight-Week Duration: You must be prepared to commit to the full eight-week residential program.

2. Application & Acceptance

How to Apply: Submit your admissions application via our Online Application or downloading the PDF and email it to admissions@faithhomerecovery.org. You can also speak directly with an Admissions Specialist at (864) 223-0694.

Application Review: Once we receive your application, a member of our Admissions Team will contact you within 24 hours. The phone number you provide must be valid, with a working voicemail, so we can leave a message if you do not answer. During this call, we will verify the information on your application. Once verified, you will be added to our waiting list.

3. Daily Check-In & Waitlist

Check-In Calls: Once you have been contacted and placed on the waiting list, you must call Faith Home daily at (864) 223-0694 between 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM, seven days a week.

Maintaining Your Place: If you fail to call for four consecutive days, you will be removed from our waitlist and denied program acceptance.

Typical Wait Times: The waiting period is approximately 2-4 weeks for men and women.

4. Admission Scheduling

We will contact you 3–4 days before your scheduled admission date to confirm your arrival and discuss any final details or questions you may have.

5. Arrival & Drug Testing

Drug Screen on Arrival: All applicants are tested for drugs upon arrival. You must test negative for alcohol, illicit substances, and certain prescription drugs (opiates, benzodiazepines, psychotropic or mind-altering medications).

Breathalyzer: You must also pass a breathalyzer test. Even blowing a .001 on the breathalyzer will result in being denied admission.

Refusal of Admission: Failing these screenings—or arriving without proper identification—will result in the denial of program admission.

6. Personal Preparations

Complete Outstanding Business: Please handle any legal, medical, or financial obligations before arrival. Once admitted, you cannot leave to address personal matters.

Medical Detox: If you require medical detox, please arrange it before admission, as we are not a medical facility.

Transportation: Someone must drive you to Faith Home. No personal vehicles are allowed during your stay.

7. Required Documentation

You must bring a valid photo ID and a Social Security card (preferred) or another valid legal form of identification. Admission will be denied if you do not have these documents.

8. Visitor & Communication Policy

Immediate Family Only, Pastors, or Sponsors: During your residency, you may place calls only to your immediate family members, your pastor, or your sponsor. Residents are allowed one 5-minute call on Saturday and one 5-minute call on Sunday. Incoming calls are not permitted except in emergencies.

No Common-Law Spouses or Dating Partners: Boyfriends, girlfriends, fiancées, or common-law spouses are not permitted to visit or call. This rule is strictly enforced.

Proof of Relationship: Visitors must provide documentation (e.g., marriage license, birth certificate) to verify their relationship with you.

9. Right to Refuse Admission

We reserve the right to deny admission at any time—including your scheduled admission date—if you do not meet our requirements or appear insincere in your commitment to recovery.
