Our Residential Recovery Program:
A life-changing, 8-Week Program For Overcoming Alcoholism & Drug Addiction
Established originally in 1966 in Greenwood, South Carolina (now five locations across the Southeast), Faith Home Christian Recovery has guided over 45,000 men and women toward a life of freedom from addiction. Through our 8-week, residential, no-cost program, we combine biblical principles and the 12 Steps to help individuals break free from alcoholism and drug dependency. We believe that with a solid faith in God and the support of a structured recovery community, each person can discover true healing and lasting transformation.
So, why Faith Home Christian Recovery?
A proven
legacy
With nearly six decades of experience, we’ve developed an effective, time-tested approach that has helped thousands regain stability and hope.
Christ-centered approach
Recovery at Faith Home emphasizes a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as the cornerstone of lasting change.
12 step
integration
We blend biblical teaching with the practical strategies of 12-Step recovery, addressing addiction’s physical, emotional, and spiritual dimensions.
Strong community support
We offer more than a program—we offer a family. Residents benefit from a supportive family of staff, alumni, and peers who walk alongside them each step of the way.
A Cost-Free Recovery Program—
One of the hallmarks of Faith Home is our commitment to offering our eight-week inpatient program free of charge. We believe that financial barriers should never prevent someone from receiving help and hope. This model is made possible by our community of faithful donors, church partners, and resale store customers, who share our vision of transforming lives through God’s grace.
*Residency is based on approved application and space availability.
A faith-based approach—
Our program is rooted in the fundamental belief that the challenges of addiction can be overcome through a meaningful relationship with God, consistent application of recovery principles, and a supportive community environment. We strive to balance faith, personal growth, and practical living skills to help each resident build a solid foundation for lifelong recovery.
Our mission remains beautifully simple: to lead the broken into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and, through the 12 Steps, help them reclaim their lives and their purpose for living.
People come to find recovery, but they leave with so much more: a renewed sense of wonder at what God can do in a willing heart, and a steadfast conviction that they, too, can rise from the ashes.
